Guest Requirements & Policies

1. Guest Requirements

To participate in the Flying Monkey Rope Swing experience, Guests must meet the following requirements:

• Guests must fit properly into all required safety equipment.
• Guests must be physically capable of participating safely in a high-adventure outdoor activity.
• Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff.

Participation may not be appropriate for individuals with certain medical conditions, injuries, physical limitations, balance concerns, or other conditions that could make a high-adventure activity unsafe. Guests who are unsure about their ability to participate should consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking.

Participation is not recommended during pregnancy or when a medical condition could make the activity unsafe.

Meeting the age and weight requirements does not guarantee participation. Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff reserve the right to refuse or stop participation whenever they believe it is necessary for safety.

2. Medication, Alcohol & Other Substances

All Guests participating in the rope swing must arrive and remain sober, alert, and unimpaired.

Guests may not participate while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana or THC, or any other substance that may affect judgment, balance, coordination, awareness, or reaction time.

Certain medications may cause drowsiness, dizziness, impaired balance, reduced alertness, or other side effects that make participation unsafe.

Guests should not stop, skip, or change prescribed medication to participate. If you are unsure whether a medication may affect your ability to participate safely, consult your physician or pharmacist before your visit.

Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff may refuse participation if a Guest appears impaired or if medication or another condition raises a safety concern.

3. What to Wear & Bring

Guests should arrive prepared for an outdoor desert adventure.

We recommend bringing and wearing:

• Secure, closed-toe shoes appropriate for outdoor terrain.
• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, and other sun protection as needed.
• Drinking water.
• Additional layers when temperatures or weather conditions call for them.

Long hair must be secured. Loose jewelry, accessories, clothing, and personal items must be secured or removed if they could become caught, lost, or create a safety hazard.

Staff may require Guests to remove or secure certain items before participating.

4. Safety Equipment & Staff Instructions

All required safety equipment must be worn and used as directed by Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff.

Guests must:

• Listen to and follow the safety briefing.
• Follow all instructions from guides, employees, and authorized personnel.
• Allow staff to inspect and adjust required equipment.
• Never remove, alter, or interfere with safety equipment without permission.
• Immediately notify staff if equipment appears damaged, improperly fitted, uncomfortable, or unsafe.

Safety equipment is intended to reduce certain risks but cannot eliminate every risk associated with the activity.

Staff may delay, restrict, or refuse participation if a Guest does not follow instructions or comply with safety requirements.

5. Transportation, Walking & Access

Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC provides transportation to and from the activity area using its shuttle vehicle.

Guests should expect an off-road ride that may include bumps, uneven terrain, dust, sudden movements, and other conditions associated with off-road transportation.

After exiting the shuttle, Guests will walk approximately 100 feet to the activity area over natural outdoor terrain. The walking route may include dirt, sand, loose rocks, uneven ground, slopes, and other desert terrain.

Guests must follow staff instructions when boarding, riding in, and exiting the shuttle, as well as when walking to and from the activity area.

Guests who have difficulty walking over uneven terrain should consider their abilities before booking and contact Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC with questions before their visit.

6. Natural Terrain & Outdoor Conditions

The experience takes place in a natural outdoor environment. Guests should be prepared for conditions that may change throughout the day.

Potential conditions and hazards include:

• Uneven ground, loose rocks, sand, and slopes.
• Cliffs, elevation changes, and steep terrain.
• Heat, cold, wind, sun exposure, and dehydration.
• Dust, reduced visibility, and changing weather.
• Wildlife, snakes, spiders, scorpions, and other insects.
• Limited cellular service and potentially delayed emergency response.

Guests must stay aware of their surroundings, remain within designated areas, and follow all posted boundaries and staff instructions.

7. Spectators

Spectators are welcome to accompany Guests and watch the experience from the designated viewing area.

For everyone's safety, spectators must follow all instructions provided by staff. Required safety equipment, including a harness when directed, must be worn as instructed.

Spectators must remain in designated viewing areas and may not approach the launch area, cliff edges, swing equipment, or other restricted areas unless specifically authorized by staff.

If a spectator later decides they would like to participate in the rope swing, they must meet all age, weight, health, and safety requirements, receive staff approval, and pay the applicable participation fee.

Signing the Guest waiver does not guarantee permission to participate.

8. Restricted Areas & Guest Conduct

Guests must remain within designated operating and viewing areas throughout their visit.

The following are prohibited:

• Crossing barriers or entering restricted areas.
• Approaching cliff edges or launch areas without staff authorization.
• Touching, adjusting, or interfering with swing equipment.
• Ignoring staff instructions or posted safety signs.
• Horseplay, reckless behavior, or actions that put others at risk.
• Interfering with staff or normal business operations.

Guests are expected to treat employees, guides, and other Guests respectfully.

Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff may stop an activity, restrict access, or refuse or end a Guest's participation if their behavior creates a safety concern.

9. Reservations & Reservation Fee

A $60 reservation fee is required to secure your booking. This fee is applied toward the total booking price and is not an additional charge.

The reservation fee is nonrefundable when the cancellation and rescheduling policies below apply. Please review these policies carefully before completing your reservation.

10. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

Please review our cancellation policy before booking. All cancellation requests must be communicated directly to Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC.

48 hours or more before your reservation

• You may cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.
• The $60 reservation fee will be retained.
• Any amount paid beyond the $60 reservation fee will be refunded.
• If you keep your reservation, the $60 fee remains credited toward your total booking price.

Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before your reservation

• Cancellations made within this time frame are not eligible for a refund.
• Rescheduling may be available, subject to approval and availability.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations during this period.

24 hours or less before your reservation

• Reservations cannot be canceled for a refund within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
• You may request to reschedule, subject to availability.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations or rescheduling requests made within this time period.

No-shows

• Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled reservation without contacting Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC will not receive a refund.
• The full booking amount remains due.

Please contact Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC as soon as possible if you need to make a change to your reservation. Rescheduling requests are not guaranteed and depend on availability.

11. Change of Mind at the Destination

If a Guest arrives at the destination and decides not to participate in the rope swing, a $70 change-of-mind fee applies in addition to the $60 reservation fee.

The $60 reservation fee is applied toward the original booking price. The $70 change-of-mind fee is a separate charge.

No refund of the reservation fee will be provided when a Guest chooses not to jump at the destination.

12. Weather & Unsafe Conditions

Guest safety always comes first. Operations may be paused, delayed, or suspended when weather or environmental conditions are considered unsafe.

If the established lightning safety threshold is reached, operations will be suspended. A minimum 30-minute lightning safety hold must be observed before operations resume. If qualifying lightning occurs during the hold, the safety interval restarts.

If weather or other unsafe conditions prevent the experience from proceeding, the reservation may be rescheduled. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations or suspensions.

Final decisions about operating conditions are made by Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff.

13. Cancellations by Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC

Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC may cancel or suspend an experience when an emergency or unsafe condition prevents safe operations.

If Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC cancels a reservation for these reasons, Guests may reschedule their experience, subject to availability. Refunds will not be provided for company-initiated cancellations due to emergencies or unsafe conditions.

We will communicate with affected Guests regarding available rescheduling options.

14. Final Safety Authority

The safety of our Guests and team members is our priority. Flying Monkey Rope Swing LLC staff have final authority over operating conditions, access to the activity area, safety equipment, and whether a Guest may participate.

Staff may delay, suspend, or stop an experience if conditions become unsafe or a Guest fails to follow instructions or safety requirements.

Guests are expected to cooperate with staff and follow all safety directions throughout their visit.
